Discover the magic of Northern Arizona and make this 10-acre lot in Ash Fork your new private hideaway. Conveniently located just five miles from I-40, this quiet parcel is surrounded by wide-open spaces with no nearby neighbors. It has a few pinon trees for shade and privacy, giving you several perfect spots for parking your camper or building your cabin.
Northern Arizona is a wildlife paradise, so this property would be a perfect hunting camp. Mule deer, jackrabbits, javelina, coyotes, mountain lions, and bobcats are all regular residents here, and elk occasionally pass through the area as well. The weather here is very mild in the fall, with average daily highs around 65 degrees and lows just above freezing. This is a great snowbird escape to avoid the bitter cold winters in Northern states or leave the extreme Phoenix Valley heat behind and spend your summers here.
Flagstaff is only 55 miles away, and Kingman is 100 miles, both easily accessed from I-40. Flagstaff is the ultimate outdoor playground with miles of hiking trails through the thousands of acres of Coconino National Forest land. Take a day trip to Grand Canyon National Park or strap on your skis and spend a sunny afternoon on the slopes at Arizona Snowbowl. Kingman is a city that loves festivals. Some annual events include the Polar Bear Dip on January 1, the Laughlin River Run in April for Harley riders, and the kid’s fun run Mighty Mud Mania in August each year.
Directions:
From I-40 west of Ash Fork, take the Crookton Road/ Route 66 exit. Drive west from the overpass on Crookton approx 0.3 mi to N. Tuscan Rd on the right.
